Kelly Rowland, who famously (and literally) popped up for a Destiny's Child reunion as part of the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show, has this advice for Lady Gaga ahead of Gaga's Super Bowl LI set: Try to stay conscious.

Rowland said in a new interview with People that the experience of performing for such a massive crowd and more than 160 million viewers across the globe rendered her temporarily stunned. So, she's urged Gaga to keep her wits about her.

"It happened too fast — it literally happened so fast,” she explained. “I remember looking at my feet and the next thing I know we were exiting to the back to leave the field, and I was like, ‘What just happened?’ It happened so fast I would just say have fun, because it’s such a moment in time."

Still, there's a part of Rowland that thinks Gaga doesn't need any guidance — Gaga's a pop pioneers, after all, she said.

"I’m just excited to see what tricks she’s gonna pull out of the bag," Rowland said. "I think a lot of people are excited to tune in because she’s come out of an egg, she’s had meat on her...This woman is just so brilliant and just innovative when it comes to performances, so I’m excited. She’s a sweetheart, so she’s gonna nail it."

Super Bowl LI, which will pit the New England Patriots against the Atlanta Falons, will air on February 5 on Fox.
