I've officially been in town for a week and 2 days, yup I’m counting, but it feels like I've lived here way longer. I mean that in a good way. I spent the last 5 years in Petoskey, beautiful town but it’s great to be back in a larger city, much more like home for me. I can’t tell you how happy I was to be stuck in traffic on 131 last Monday after the snow moved through. Pretty sure I was the only guy on the highway going under 20mph and somehow still smiling, ahh traffic!

Any true “transplant” knows that the first thing you have to do is get your home set up, check it out, I've got a pretty cool(?) 70s theme going:

Yeah, a true bachelor pad, (we'll discuss how to make this more female friendly in another blog!) So that’s set up, I’m getting to know my neighborhood and I've been able to yuck it up on the morning show with Connie & Curtis, so now  it’s time to hear from you.

What in Grand Rapids do I HAVE to experience? I’m talking food, attractions, bars, shopping, running trails, 5k runs, everything. What are your favorites? Where should I take my friends when they come to visit?
