Josh Elliott Recreates Iconic ‘Say Anything’ Boombox Scene on ‘GMA’ [VIDEO]

Josh Elliott
ABC

Anchorman Josh Elliott paid homage to John Cusack’s iconic boombox scene from ‘Say Anything’ on ‘Good Morning America‘ as part of “Totally Awesome ’80s Week.” Sniff. Sorry, that moment always gets us a little choked up.

As Elliott stands outside the ‘GMA’ studios with a boombox held over his head, Peter Gabriel’s ‘In Your Eyes’ plays so loud that Elliott can’t hear his fellow anchors speak. For shame! Lloyd Dobler would’ve been mortified. But at least he worked in a kickboxing reference. Get your ’80s fix below.
