Just days after Beyonce's mom, Tina Knowles, announced she would take a break from social media after inadvertently dissing Jennifer Hudson, the Dreamgirls star shared a cryptic message on Instagram where she seemed to acknowledge the drama.

On Friday, December 30, Hudson shared her resolution for the New Year on the social media site, writing, "Getting started on my New Years resolution list, hmmm let's see..."

"2017 reminder to self," she continued. "Don't allow someone else's ugly to mess up your beautiful."

And while the message could easily be just another generic attempt to manifest some positive vibes for the New Year—after all, who hasn't posted about leaving the haters behind on NYE?—the wording is interesting.

In her public apology to Hudson where she announced her impending social media hiatus, Knowles explained that it was "evil mean people" who construed her "accidentally" liking an Instagram comment dissing Hudson into a "social media ugly thing."

Is Knowles' (admittedly shady-seeming) mishap the "someone else's ugly" Hudson is talking about? Or does her New Year's resolution simply suffer from ironic timing?
