Twenty-year-old R&B and pop singer Jasmine Villegas is releasing her debut single, "That's Me Right There," featuring Kendrick Lamar, on Aug. 5.

The track is being released by Interscope Records, which signed Villegas, also known as Jasmine V, last year. It is part of her upcoming EP due out sometime later this summer.

"I feel like that song kind of represents my sound," she told Latina magazine about the aptly-titled song in a February 2014 cover story. "After all these years of trying to find myself and create myself, I finally did."

"That's Me Right There" was produced by Harmony Samuels, who has worked with Jennifer Lopez, Keyshia Cole and on Ariana Grande's double platinum top 10 hit "The Way."

The San Jose, Calif.-born Villegas' 2011 mixtape, "S(he) Be(lie)ve(d)," yielded tracks including "Jealous," "Werk" and "Just A Friend."

This summer, she has been on the Pop-Tarts Crazy Good Summer Tour with Demi Lovato and Austin Mahone.
