It’s a…..Zonkey?

That's right! A baby "Zonkey" (very rare) was born and doing well!

A Zonkey is a Zebra and Donkey hybrid. So it's tiny like a donkey but has these AWESOME Zebra stripes!

A farmer in Italy actually has a bunch of rescued animals on his premises. A Donkey and a Zebra actually aren't supposed to be able to reproduce so he thought it was a safe bet to keep them near each other. He even built a fence to keep them separate! However, where there's a will there's a way and we now have a new baby Zonkey.

They have named the baby 'Ippo'. And he's simply the cutest Zonkey baby ever!
