Is a ‘Harry Potter’ Spin off in the Works?
Attention Muggles & Wizards alike-
Zap2It has reported that Warner Brothers has trademarked Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a 2001 Harry Potter spin-off book written by J.K. Rowling, along with Tales of Beedle the Bard and Quidditch Through The Ages. This announcement has been made more than two years after the last Harry Potter movie was in theaters.
J.K Rowling says that “will be inspired by Harry Potter’s Hogwarts textbook of the same name, and will feature the book’s fictitious author, Newt Scamander. The book will not be a prequel or sequel
but an extension of the wizarding world. The laws and customs of the hidden magical society will be familiar to anyone who has read the Harry Potter books or seen the films, but Newt’s story will start in New York, seventy years before Harry’s gets underway.”
In other news, while this may not be totally relevant, let’s take a minute to view the beautiful transformation of Matthew Lewis, the actor who played Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films. What a handsome man.
