Instead of “How Was School?” Ask Your Kids These Questions Instead

Today was the first day of school and I'm sure the first thing parents asked their kid when they came home was "how was school?" Since it's the first week you may get an elongated response but by the second week you're going to hear the typical "fine" answer. I remember when my parents would ask me how school was I would give them 3 different responses... "Fine," "Boring," or "It's school, what do you think?"

To avoid these answers Familyshare.com compiled a list of 23 questions to ask your kids so you get more than a one-word answer. The key is specifics.
