Ice Balls Form A Hypnotizing Sight In Grand Haven Channel [Video]

A strange and beautiful phenomenon formed in the Grand Haven channel this morning (January 12).  The phenomenon is known as "Ice Balls" and it is commonly formed when large sheets of ice break into smaller pieces and collide with one another.  However, these specific ice balls probably formed because of the heavy lake effect snow gathering on the surface of the water and freezing.  Either way, these things are awesome and quite hypnotizing to watch!
