Did you hear the story out of Allegan County today about the rescue of over 300 dogs?

Yes, THREE HUNDRED FIFTY THREE Shih Tzu and Pomeranian dogs were rescued from a "breeder" in Allegan County. I put "breeder" in quotes because I can think of many other words to use for people like this.

How do you get to having over 300 dogs (covered in poop and other stuff, by the way) and not realize that maybe things have gone too far? Amazing. And sickening.

Anyway, the Allegan County Animal Shelter needs your help. They can use towels, blankets, food and grooming items. And if you are part of a rescue group, you must be an APPROVED group before they will consider releasing any of the dogs.

DONATE ONLINE HERE through Pay It Square or you can send it to Allegan County Animal Shelter - 2293 33rd Street - Allegan, MI 49010.
