Holiday Tipping Etiquette

During the holidays we find ourselves wanting to tip our service providers: the mailman, the babysitter, our hairdressers, and that’s been customary practice for years. But, these are different (and for some, desperate) times. We can’t as frivolously throw an extra twenty some one’s way because we’re feeling generous. That twenty bucks can buy a lot of groceries, or school lunches, or it’s being saved for something else.

Here’s a nice guide to holiday tipping as well as ideas of low-cost things that you can do to let the people who do so much for you know how much you appreciate them.
