A press release sent out today says that Grand Rapids will be getting a new, and much anticipated retailer. The release, put out by H&M and Hennes & Mauritz said that West Michigan will have an H&M sometime in fall of 2013.

H&M plans to continue to expand throughout the Midwest in 2013. Shoppers in western Michigan will have access to the brand’s quality collections in a brand new 19,000 square foot store. H&M at Woodland Mall will include collections for ladies, men, young ladies and young men, with separate “store within store” sections for accessories, lingerie, maternity, and sports apparel. This location will also carry H&M’s fantastic children’s collection, which features quality clothing for kids ages newborn to fourteen, as well as H&M’s plus-size line, H&M+.

Since H&M opened its first store on New York’s Fifth Avenue thirteen years ago, the U.S. has been one of the retailer’s most important markets. With its emphasis on expansion, H&M continually seeks out the best properties and locations for its customers. Now offering U.S. consumers access to quality fashions at the best prices through 269 locations across the country, H&M is excited to enter another important U.S. market.
