If you were given the opportunity to go back to high school do you think you'd be able to pass as a student? Or maybe even college? It's like the movie Never Been Kissed where Drew Barrymore, an undercover reporter, poses as a high school student and fools everyone. It's a great movie with a happy ending.

However, this isn't a movie. It's real life. And it doesn't have a happy ending for this guy.

ABC 27 News says police arrested a 23-year-old man who had been posing as an 18-year-old high school student in Pennsylvania.

Artur Samarin who went by the name of “Asher Potts” was arrested on Tuesday and charged with false identification.

Samarin, a Ukrainian immigrant, created a false identity after his visa had expired. According to US Weekly, he had enrolled in 2012 and was actively involved in school and extra-curricular programs.

He was an honors student with a 4.16 GPA, part of the ROTC, and Navel Sea Cadet Program. He even was honored with an award from the state's representative.

Police and school officials are still trying to figure out how Samarin was able to get away with posing as a student for this long. A tip to police is what led to the investigation. Samarin is facing identity theft and tampering with public records charges.
