Lisa Aldrich bought a birthday cake from a Gaines Township Meijer and ended up making a difference in the life of a person living with Autism.

Lisa was looking to get a cake for a friends birthday and when she asked the employee working at the Meijer Bakery to write the message on the top she noticed it took a while but once she got the cake she noticed something strange about the writing on itbut kindly smiled and thanked the Employee when it was done, and just figured it would be something to laugh about with her friends since it wasn't the best looking thing she has ever seen.

As she was checking out another employee noticed the cake and informed her that the girl who wrote on her cake has autism and thanked Lisa for not saying anything and just thanking her for the cake because even though the employee wasn't "supposed" to write on cakes it probably made her day!

The moral of the story is kindness goes a long way.
