‘Harry Potter’ As Told By People Who Have Neither Read Nor Seen The Series [Video]

I have to admit, for a long time, I was a Harry Potter hold out. Back when the books first came out, I was hesitant to start reading them until a friend put everything into perspective for me. She said, "Just read the first book. If you don't like it, you don't have to read any of the rest." "Fair point," I thought. So I read the first one and got hooked. The rest is history.

But, there are still some hold-outs out there who have never read the books or watched any of the movies. And the folks at BuzzFeed rounded a handful of them up and asked them to explain the books as well as they could. The results are hysterical.

And really, the best way to sum up Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff is, "A really smart house, a cute house, an evil house, and then there's like a, just, house of people that are generally kind."
