GRPD Have Suspects In Air-soft Shooting Incidents
Earlier this month, people near downtown reported two men were driving around shooting air-soft guns at others. Police now say they have suspects.
WZZM 13 reports that warrants have been issued for Ryan Lee Kooima, 20 and Taylor Alexander Ingram, 19. The two will be charged with three counts of "Assault and Battery" for seven shooting incidents that happened in Grand Rapids, and two that happened in East Grand Rapids.
The good news is no one was injured by the air-soft pellets.
Besides this being a public nuisance, it's probably better for THEM that they were caught. Could you imagine if they pulled an air-soft gun out on a citizen exercising their right to carry?
Back to the facts...
Grand Rapids Police say the two were supposed to turn themselves in, but have yet to do so. They also thank the community for identifying the two suspects.
