Grand Rapids Bars Up For “Great American Beer Bar Finals”

Grand Rapids now holds the title of "Beer City, USA", and now two local bars are vying for the title of "Great American Beer Bar". Both Hopcat and Founder's Taproom are up for the honor in CraftBeer.com's contest for the North Central Region.The process started by the website soliciting for nominations for people's favorite beer bars and has moved on from their. Now, the voting has been pared down to the top 10 nominees in each region.

Hopcat and Founder's are up against some stiff competition, including three other bars right here in Michigan (Ferdale, Ann Arbor, and Rochester Hills).  Now, it's up to the public to pick their favorite!

CraftBeer.com will be recognizing the top three overall most popular craft beer bars as well as the top three from each of the five regions. Voting ends on September 20th so be sure to vote for your favorite as soon as possible! (How cool would it be for a GR bar to take the top honor again?)
