Grand Rapids-area Harry Potter fans are in for a treat next winter! The Grand Rapids Symphony has just announced two special showings of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone!

The film's score by John Williams will be performed live by the Grand Rapids Pops as the film plays on the big screen at DeVos Performance Hall.

Tickets are now available as part of a 2016-17 season subscription. Individual tickets will go on sale on August 1.

Showtimes are Friday, January 27 at 8PM and Saturday, January 28 at 3PM.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was released in 2001. The film's score was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Score.
