Parking downtown Grand Rapids can be so frustrating AND expensive, depending upon where you find a spot.

Now the city parking commission is being asked to consider lowering the monthly fee of lots north of Fulton in order to draw customers from the south lots that seem to be more full and less expensive.

The idea is to even out the number of people using each lot for parking.  The shift in parking may also benefit drivers by bringing them closer to the downtown.
