Grand Rapids Named Third Snowiest City
Grand Rapids made another list! This time from GoldenSnowGlobe.com!
If you’re not familiar with the website, this is how they describe themselves:
“A fun national snow contest for the snowiest city in the United States with a population of 100,000 or more! Check to see if Your city winter snowfall totals are listed.”
According to the site, Grand Rapids is at 92.2 inches for the 2013-2014 season and has averaged 56.3 inches. With that said, Grand Rapids scored #3 in the top 10! This puts us behind Erie, Pennsylvania and Buffalo, New York.
Ann Arbor, Detroit and Flint also earned spots in the top 10.
