Grand Rapids Children’s Museum's sixth annual Kids’ ArtFest is Sunday.

The free celebration gives kids a chance to create art. There will also be live music, dance performances and presentations.

Kids’ ArtFest is Sunday, September 27th, noon - 5PM on Sheldon Ave and Veteran’s Park, across from the Grand Rapids Children's Museum (GRCM).

Kids will get hands-on experience with painting, pastel drawing, clay sculpture, print making, jewelry making, illustration, and more.

“Families that have been walking around viewing all the ArtPrize work can then come down and actually do some artwork of their own,” said Adrienne Brown, Marketing and Events Manager at the GRCM.

GRCM is collaborating with ArtPrize artists, Gilda’s Club of Grand Rapids, The Salvation Army Kroc Center, Fat Blossom Farms, Joyful Music Studio, and others to lead art and activity stations during the event.
