If you park street side within the City of Grand Rapids, make sure to keep your eye on the calendar.

WOOD-TV 8 reports the city's odd/ even parking restrictions start today, Sunday November 1.

On even numbered days between 1 a.m. and 6 p.m. drivers should park on the side of the street with even numbered addresses. It's just the opposite for odd numbered days.

If you're wondering if this rule applies to where you park, just look for the signs because not every street is included. Make sure you get it right though, because it's a $20 fine if you're on the wrong side of the road.

Drivers can park on both sides of the road between 6 p.m. and 1 a.m. These parking rules will run through April 1.
