Good People Doing Good Things: Coffee Shop Turns Theft Into Good Deed

Heading down to Ohio, employees at the Nervous Dog coffee shop caught surveillance video of a man stealing from the tip jar! The nerve. Instead of employees filing a police report, what they did next still has me "mindblown."

From their Facebook page:

Folks- we figured anyone desperate enough to steal a few bucks from a kid working her way through college, is likely pretty hungry. So we thought we would initiate a canned food drive for him; we’ll begin with a can or two from each employee, and make a box available in each of our shops for your kind contributions.

You read it right, they are hosting a food drive for the man who stole from the jar, and the first person to make a donation was the kid who those tips belonged to.

The man has yet to be identified.
