How about some good news when it comes to our health?

I've never been a smoker, it's just never really appealed to me.  I'm an example of 'tried it, didn't like it.'

Well, good news for our future, nearly twice as many households in the U.S. are smoke-free compared to 20 years ago.

In the early 1990s almost 43% of households were smoke-free.

What about now?

According to the CDC, more than 90% of homes in the United States are without a smoker.

Most of this is thanks to the awareness though the years, and the diminishing segment of Americans who smoke. 18% of Americans were smokers in 2012, that's down nearly 42% since the mid 60s!
