'Girl Meets World' is set to premiere on the Disney Channel on June 27, and 'Boy Meets World' diehards have to know: Will the spin-off do it justice? While we won't find out for sure until the show airs, the newly released opening credits for 'GMW' get us that much closer to the full thing -- and if they're anything to go by, it seems like 'BMW' fans will be more than satisfied.

One of the first things we recognized in the credits was the iconic paper plane, a staple of the parent show's intro. And as the clip shows, 'GMW' will be full of wacky adventures between Cory and Topanga's daughter Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard) and her Shawn Hunter-like bestie, Maya Hart -- much like Cory and Shawn's antics in 'BMW.' But of course, Riley will always be supported by her loving parents, who seriously look like they haven't aged a day since 'BMW' ended in 2003. (Speaking of which, Topanga even dons a crimped wig in the vid… do all signs point to a flashback?) As the credits roll, the show's sunny, upbeat theme song 'Take on the World' plays, as sung by Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter.
