A giant and bright fireball lit up Michigan's sky Monday morning at the early hour of 1:30 a.m.

Dash cam videos from police officers and multiple other videos have been released showing the amazing sight of the meteor. The meteor is said to have passed over Lake Michigan but was seen by viewers from Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.

Meteorologist Jeff Last of the National Weather Services office in Green Bay says that the meteor was accompanied by a loud sonic boom that managed to shake some houses and buildings.

It is unclear if the meteor landed in Lake Michigan or broke up in the sky, but there are no claims of damage from the meteor itself.
