The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum has been closed down since October due to renovations, it is set to open again in late spring.

WOOD-TV 8 reports the renovations include an 8,000 square foot DeVos Learning Center, plus new museum exhibits. Reports say visitors can expect to see videos, interactive digital elements and more historical artifacts when the museum reopens.

The reopening will be celebrated with a ceremony on June 7.

According to the The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation, over $15 million was raised for projects such as this.
