Need a job in the auto industry?  General Motors is hiring!!

Since paying back the company's $50 billion bailout ... GM has seen profits soar to its highest level in ten years!  The automaker is also planning to spend $2 billion for upgrades at 17 factories throughout the country that will create 4,000 plant jobs!

More than half of the jobs will stay right here in Michigan.  For example, the Detroit-Hamtramck plant that makes the ever popular electric Chevy Volt

According to mlive.com, oodles of auto suppliers will also get a boost in orders including Autocam and Lacks Enterprises in Kentwood, Johnson Controls in Holland, Cascade Engineering in Cascade Township, Gentex in Zeeland and Magna Donnelly in Holland and Lowell.

GM's latest investments are expected to create 8,600 supplier jobs and add nearly $3 billion to the nation's gross domestic product.
