A failure of a unit at one of BP's Indiana refineries has caused the wholesale price of gas to jump up $0.90/gallon over the weekend—causing Michigan gas prices to jump over $3.00.

This may not be the end either—higher yet prices could come in the next few days—although it's predicted the spike in price will only be temporary.
