Being a new parent of a child born in the digital era, I'm quickly learning that there are different things that I will have to punish or deter my child from doing online, or with other technology. That's why I have to say, I am a fan of the new way Mr. Feng went about fixing "a problem" with his child.

Mr. Feng is a father of a 23 year old unemployed man, who does nothing but sit at home and play video games. Mr. Feng, and Ilove the name by the way, was not a fan of this happening days on end, so he got an idea.

Pay some other people on line to track down his son in the video game, and eliminate him quickly, so it is no longer fun to play. His son quickly caught on and decided to ask another player why he was targeting him... ALL THE TIME.

According to a quote from BBC News, "It's not going to do much for family relations," Professor Mark Griffiths said. "I've never heard of that kind of intervention before, but I don't think these top-down approaches work. Most excessive game playing is usually a symptom of an underlying problem."

Interesting, I would agree it is part of an underlying problem... LAZINESS.
