Kent District Library’s Wyoming Branch is offering free STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) activities for kids on spring break.

Monday, April 4 through Thursday, April 7 from 10AM to 4PM, the GRCC Manufacturing Trailer will be at the branch with a 3D printer, virtual welder and more.

Spring breakers may stop by anytime and explore 11 different STEAM-based activities including Snap Circuits, littleBits electronics, Robot Rumble and demonstrations from local robotics groups. On Thursday, KDL is partnering with Grandville Avenue Arts and Humanities and will have Spanish-speaking staff on hand to help.

“We are selecting tools and activities to increase proficiency in STEAM while in a fun learning environment,” said KDL LAB Experience co-creator Craig Buno.
