‘Food For Families’ Is Almost Over!

Would you like to help out area families in need? Well bring by any non-perishable food item or household product to the Spartan Food Truck at the WZZM-13 studios this Monday, as we will be wrapping up the "Food For Families" food drive. I will be broadcasting live and doing my entire show out there starting at 3pm to help bring in as much food as possible to the Access Food Networks.

Your donation to Food for Families makes a big difference in your community! Local food pantries are often cleaned out during the holiday season because people are in the spirit of giving. But the giving slows dramatically during the summer months. That’s unfortunate because experts know… hunger doesn't take a summer vacation. In fact, food pantries struggle to keep up with the demand for help during the summer months. And now there is a new face of hunger in our community. People who one or two years ago were holding jobs and feeding their families without trouble, now need to rely on food pantries.

Please help out area families by bringing non-perishable food items or household products to the truck or any D&W or Family Fare and place the items in the cart at the select store. Monday the 18th will be the last day you can help, It is for a great cause and will help out many families in need here in West Michigan. Plus we will have
