If you're a Verizon Wireless customer than you know that feeling you get when you receive a text message saying that you've used 90% of your data. It's been a long time struggle for Verizon users not to use up all of their data. But finally, data is one less thing we have to worry about now. As of Monday, 2/13, Verizon started offering unlimited data!

Verizon made the announcement on their website on Sunday.

Customers can choose to keep their current plan or switch to a plan that offers unlimited data, talk and text for $80/month. A family plan, that has at least four lines, can pay $180/month, which comes out to $45 per line. With Verizon Unlimited, you also get HD video streaming and mobile hotspots at no extra charge. The president of Verizon's wireless division said in a statement:

Everything we’ve done is to provide the best experience on the best network – and we’ve built it for the future, not just for today."

It was only a matter of time before Verizon hopped on the bandwagon. Despite being the nation's largest cell provider, the majority of their competitors have unlimited data plans, such as Sprint and T-Mobile, who have both seen a growth in the amount of sales because of their unlimited data plans. Plans will still be offered to those who don't need unlimited data.
