Fast Food Skyrockets In Price

Some of our fast food favorites have made a huge jump in price in the past decade!

The website cockeyed.com looked at prices of fast food in 2002 in comparison to now. The whole survey started when one of their writers went to McDonald's (after not being there for years) and was shocked when it cost over 4 dollars for a Big Mac.

The biggest price jump was for the Filet-O-Fish which has gone up 111% in the past ten year. It went from $1.89 to $3.99

A small milkshake at Burger King is also up over 100%. It used to cost you only .99 cents. It will now take $1.99 to purchase.

The consumer price index said that the average price hike is somewhere in the 25% range. However everything on this survey (almost) jumped way more than that.
