The company announced that they will be adding a shopping section to their app. In order to optimize sales for businesses and easiness for consumers, Facebook is testing the shopping experience on a new ad experience called Canvas.

After clicking on an ad, people will see a fast-loading, full-screen experience where they can browse through a variety of products, before going to the retailer’s website to purchase."

'Buy' buttons will also be introduced so you can shop right there... without ever having to leave Facebook.

There is no word at this time when the shopping feature will roll out.
