Evgeni Plushenko Figure Skating Routine Remixed With Ginuwine’s ‘Pony’ [Video]

Evgeni Plushenko, is a well-known Russian who figure skating experts would agree is currently the best male figure skater in the world. He has a history of performing athletic, and quite colorful routines, and it turns out that his most notoriously ridiculous routine is even better when remixed with Ginuwine's song "Pony."

This routine is a real one that Plushenko first performed during the 2005-2006 season. Because the costume involved airbrushed-on fake muscles and removable stripper pants (as well as running into the audience to kiss ladies on the hand) he only performed it in exhibitions and not in any competitions. The soundtrack to the piece, as originally performed, was "Sex Bomb" by Tom Jones (not as good as "Pony", Evgeni.)

Frankly, the addition of "Pony" by 90's R&B star Ginuwine makes this substantially better. But, in my opinion, if you add "Pony" to mundane tasks like cooking, driving, showering, and blow drying your hair, it makes those a million times better, too.

Plushenko won't be competing for the individual men's gold in figure skating until Thursday, February 13th and Friday, February 14th. As of right now, he's heavily favored to win.
