Support Stop The Silt – Saugatuck

The Alliance for the Great Lakes and Coors Light have teamed up with a text to donate program for our neighboring lakefront communities to conserve and restore the worlds largest freshwater resources ensuring healthy Great Lakes and clean water for generations of people and wildlife.

Please help protect Saugatuck Harbor from upstream silt. The harbor is filling in at a rate of 36,000 cubic yards of silt per year which is equal to a football field 4 feet high annually.  Both Saugatuck and Douglas are working on methods to stop the run off so we can continue to enjoy the boating in the harbor. Just text 95577 and message stopthesilt to help us keep the great lakes great!!
