The 4th of July is a city-wide celebration and an all day community affair! The celebration starts with a parade at noon, followed by a party in John Collins Park on Reeds Lake, 750 Lakeside Drive. Kids of all ages will enjoy musical entertainment, inflatable’s, games, air brush tattoos, balloon animals and concessions. Highlighting the celebration is a water ski show on Reeds Lake. A musical performance by the Grand Rapids Federation of Musicians then plays through the night until the start of the fireworks. At dusk, a fantastic fireworks display over the water completes the day! 

12:00P-1:00P PARADE: Begins at East Grand Rapids Public Schools District Oce on Hall and Lake Dr. Continues to Lakeside, then Wealthy ending at Croswell.  Special Appearances:  Celtic Woodwinds.

Noon To Late CONCESSIONS: Shafer Concessions

1:00P-5:00P ACTIVITIES: Kick-X Football, Moon Walk, All Stars Basketball, Air Brush Tattoos, Clown Show (4:00-4:45p), Face Paint, and more!
