Three people have been named as "persons of interest" in an incident that closed East Grand Rapids High School on Friday.

The high school was closed and athletic practices were moved or cancelled on Friday when a suspicious package was found in the school. Upon checkout out surveillance footage, officials found that it showed three people in the building overnight.

The Michigan State Police Bomb Squad was called in on Friday to investigate. The package was not found to be a security risk.

Police have identified the three people that were inside of the building and are still investigating the incident.
