East Grand Rapids Offering Safe Place for Online Sales

Are you big into buying and trading things online? It can be a bit risky when it comes to meeting up to exchange goods but East Grand Rapids has a solution.

EGR Public Safety is now allowing those exchanging goods over the internet, through sites like Craigslist, a safe place. WOOD-TV 8 reports officers will allow the public to conduct sales in the parking lot or lobby at the East Grand Rapids Public Safety Building.

Those looking to take advantage of the program can conduct their transactions from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The EGR Public Safety Building is located at 770 Lakeside Drive SE in East Grand Rapids.
