Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. Reveals Hints About Movies In The Park 2014 Lineup

The popular Movies in the Park series will return to downtown Grand Rapids, and Downtown Grand Rapids Inc., along with Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, are asking fans to figure out what the lineup is based on clues from a short video.

The organizations released the video this morning, and it features local celebrities, officials, and some hometown heroes depicting memorable scenes from movies. If you think you know what those are, you could win a pretty awesome prize. 

A survey is available online, for the public to guess which films are referenced. Those who can correctly name all the films will be entered into a drawing to win a personal projector system for their home. The contest ends on May 8.

This year six movie nights are planned: June 6 and 20, July 11 and 25, and August 8 and 22. The last night will be a double feature, with the first film chosen through voters’ choice polling.
