Is it rude to leave your hotel room in disarray?

I remember my mom always ‘tidying-up’ before we went to the next place during our summer road trips.  She claimed it would be embarassing if someone else had to clean-up after such a mess!

According to Hotels.com, 60% of you confess to making the bed before checking out — guilty!  Another 45% go as far as to fold the towels, but get this — 11% got a little flushed when they admitted grabbing a brush and actually cleaned the toilet!
