Results of a recent study says it takes 25 years to really appreciate our brothers and sisters.

This study is pretty fascinating to me, in part because I have a brother that I don't see nearly enough of. One thing I've noticed since getting older is how much time has passed, in both of our lives, that we really never spent together. Both of us in our 30s now, I think we both realize how important "brother time" is.

The study that was put together included 2000 adults over the age of 30. Researchers found that 25 was the average age we start to feel love for our siblings after years of fighting and bickering (boy was that true when we were younger). Roughly 3 quarters of adults agreed that they have a much better relationship with their siblings now, compared to childhood; 45% say they use to argue constantly.

Check out BuzzFeed's "13 Things Only Siblings Understand," the "double standard" one is DEAD on for me.
