24 hours after sending pitcher David Price to the Toronto Blue Jays, the Detroit Tigers have made another move, this time sending slugger Yoenis Cespedes to the New York Mets.

The Mets will be the fourth team Cespedes has suited up for in the past two seasons, after the Oakland A's sent him to the Boston Red Sox before last season's trade deadline. The Tigers acquired the slugger this past off-season.

During his time in Detroit, Cespedes hit .293, with 18 home runs and 61 RBIs.

In return, the Tigers will receive two prospects from the Mets organization, right-handed pitchers Michael Fulmer and Luis Cessa, according to MLive.com.

The Tigers had also made players like catcher Alex Avila and outfielder Rajai Davis available, but the team wasn't able to find any takers before the deadline.
