Detroit Man Tries To Kill Bedbugs, Burns Apartment Down

Bedbugs are bad, burning your home down is worse.

A Detroit man is recovering after receiving sever burns when he lit his couch on fire. The Detroit Free Press reports he was trying to destroy some bedbugs by pouring alcohol on his couch and lighting one bug on fire.

Bad idea.

The alcohol, which was also on his body, went up in flames along with four other units in his building

No word on if he will be charged.

If you have bedbugs, call the professionals...don't light yourself on fire!
