Wow!  A sports update from Sabrina??  It must be huge enough news to get my attention, but I have to admit that of all sports — baseball and NASCAR are my top two.

In the best of both worlds, Danica Patrick is on track to put both hands on the wheel of her GoDaddy.com sponsored NASCAR career by pulling out of IndyCar racing altogether.
If you’re not familiar with who Danica is … check out the video of her making the announcement yesterday Note that she is also the spokesmodel for GoDaddy.com!  She has the looks and talent to drive at 100-plus mph with the rest of the boys.  She’s kind of like the Anna Kournikova of tennis and has never won a race, but she did finish fourth at Sam’s Town 300 in Las Vegas this past March.

Meanwhile, the New York Yankees made baseball history last night with three grand slams in a single game!  Robinson Cano, Russell Martin and Curtis Granderson all hit the ball out of the park to route the Oakland Athletics 22-9!!

This great news on the heels of #2 Kalamazoo native, Derek Jeter,  returning for another season after recovering from a calf injury and now a possible broken heart.

According to People magazine, Jeter and Minka Kelly of Friday Night Lights fame, have parted ways after dating for three years.  Jeter is 37, has never married and is once again — single .
