As of March 16, The Late Late Show with James Corden has been entertaining late night TV viewers for one whole year. To celebrate, the talk show host toasted his anniversary in style on Wednesday evening by recreating an episode from his second week in which he, along with his crew and some special celebrity guests, went door-to-door in the neighborhood to film a live episode in a viewer's home.

Last March, Corden and Jeff Goldblum set up shop in the home of a gentleman named Tommy. This year, a viewer named Natalie's home who was graced by Corden and his CBS crew, along with the likes of Colin Farrell, Wanda Sykes, Jack Hanna, and Demi Lovato. Not bad for an impromptu Wednesday night house party, Natalie! (I guess our invite got lost in the mail.)

That house party included a live performance by Lovato, the episode's musical guest, who ditched her typical grand stage setup for a much more intimate venue: Natalie's dining room.

With Corden and company snugly seated on Natalie and her roommates' couch one room over, Lovato, who achieved four years sobriety on March 15, closed the episode with an sparkling performance of her soaring Confident single, "Stone Cold."

Backed only by a piano (which presumably was brought into Natalie's home for the performance), the soulful, stripped-down rendition was further punctuated by Lovato's informal surroundings, making for a relaxed, emotional performance perfectly suited to the intimacy of the song. Watch above.
