Deadline For Grand River ArtPrize Entries Is Monday
ArtPrize entries that are placed in the Grand River have to go through many steps of approval before being accepted and eventually installed.
The submission due Monday is called a “pre-application”. The pre-application should be one page of text, plus 5-10 images of what you are proposing to install. The city will select one or more submissions to advance to the next step of preparing a proposal for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
Submit the pre-application to Jose Reyna: email@example.com.
The final permit decisions for Grand River ArtPrize entries will be issued by June 7, so we’ll know if there will be another sea creature in the Grand River by then.
John Ball Zoo is open, the butterflies are back at Frederik Meijer Gardens, and now ArtPrize deadlines are coming.
