Colbie Caillat Is An Animal Lover!

The Humane Society is working with Channel 957 artist, Colbie Caillat, to raise awareness about the abuses that take place at puppy mills.

What is a puppy mill?  Any place where the pet owner neglects the health and well-being of the adult dogs and their offspring. 

Offenses range from filthy living conditions to taking the puppies from the mom too soon after birth.  There are laws in this country, but it is hard to locate the people who are not licensed to breed.
