If you thought the Kimye Babye was going to cause some waves in the gene pool, just wait until you hear the news Denise Richards - friend and former wife of Charlie Sheen's - tweeted to the world.

Seems tigerblood and Adonis DNA will soon flow through the veins of the next generation of rock stars from Mars, because early on Jan. 15, Richards made this joyous family announcement to her 2.5 million Twitter followers:

Yes, you read that right. Prepare yourselves for a new generation of winning warlocks, because 47-year-old Charlie Sheen is about to become somebody's grandfather.

The father of five began his brood with his high school sweetheart Paula Profitt in 1984 when the never-married pair brought Cassandra Jade Estevez into the world. Sheen was only 19 at the time, but apparently he wasn't an absentee father -- because in 2010, Sheen walked Cassandra (now 28) down the aisle at her wedding.

Cassandra's siblings include two sisters - ages 8 and 7 - from Sheen's marriage to Richards, and 3-year-old twin brothers from his union with the troubled Brooke Mueller.

Thus far there haven't been any tweets from Sheen himself about becoming a grandpa, and he made no mention of the happy news during his appearance on the 'Late Show with David Letterman' on Monday night.

But assuming it's all true, Sheen will join the legions of men who spin yarns of yesteryear to a rapt audience of youngsters (no, we don't mean the pretty young things with whom Charlie currently likes to spend his free time).

And man, will he have some doozies about the good old days.
